Part of our new series focusing on our local Brooklyn neighborhood and Upstate NY the new McCarren Park pennant is a lovely little piece of the neighborhood we have called home for almost a decade and the tennis players frmo across the street who have been our customers since day 1 (no, we will not do a pickle ball one).

Oxford Pennant was founded in 2013 when two guys met on a business trip, bonded over the nostalgia and ingenuity of pennants and became instant friends. Brett Mikoll and Dave Horesh, Co-founders at Oxford Pennant, recognized that pennants had once been revered as icon keepsakes for over a century but had largely become cheap, low-quality souvenirs produced overseas with synthetic materials. They set out to change that.
